Recently modified for a customer - SOLD - A 3.5t chassis with retrofitted meat rail system. The 12ft body was single temperature. We installed meat rails to the walls, as per the customers request. We strengthened the ceiling and installed C Channel Rail to the walls with fixed hooks. The interior was refurbished to foodsafe standards; free of holes. The single phase refrigeration unit was fully serviced and tested. The floor was recoated in RED resin for a fully washable interior. The door gaskets were replaced to ensure a fully watertight and weatherproof body. Polar strip curtains were installed at the central door leaf. <br><br> This vehicle is sold. Recently Modified for a customer - SOLD - 54 plate DAF 55.180, 18T, very low miles. The customer’s request was for an 18t meat railer with an unusually short body, must have an analogue tacho and dual passenger seat. We had to shorten the chassis to take a 21ft body within a standard wheelbase. We sourced a used 25ft refrigerated body and shortened to 21ft. We installed a dual passenger seat in the cab. We modified the double rear doors to give full height aperture. We supplied and fitted a refurbished independent diesel unit for chilled temperatures of 0DegC with three phase standby. The fridge unit was fully serviced and tested. The body was modified with suitable strengthening in roof for 4 T Bar meat rails evenly spaced with 10 double hooks per rail (40 in total). We will install a small length of rail as storage for hooks not in use. We also installed a hook in centre of doorway for weighing scales. 2 x LED Interior lights were fitted. 1 x row of load restraining track fitted to side walls and 2 x shoring poles included.
